Halloween!
Oh my, Americans love Halloween and they totally know how to make it a celebration! It’s the dressing up bit that the adults seem to love even more so than the kids.
And they rock it ๐
What amazes me is the creativity and extremes people go to here for their Halloween costume.
This is my friend Justin as Britney Spears in her breakdown phase.
He even shaved his legs and bought a green umbrella specifically to recreate this image! Amazeballs!
Halloween is not all about trick or treating here. And it’s not all about the kids.
It’s about another excuse to party and to dress up. And why not?! I’m all up for that! ๐
I hope to bring the extensive fun of Halloween that the USA embraces back to the UK next year, so I hope y’all ready to PARTY!
Is Harry dressing up and trick or treating for Halloween? It is fun for kids and for the kid in us adults alike,
Oh yes! He would dress up every day if he could!
What is he going to be? Take pictures please! ๐
I will! Ghostly….
We’ve started to celebrate Halloween in Australia, something we never used to do. The kids dress
up the same as they do in America, it’s just a bit of fun for them. i don’t think there are any parties because there’s usually school the following morning, in the UK they celebrate Guy Fawkes night instead. We used to make a guy to put on top of pile of wood, and burn him up, we also had fireworks, it used to be a lot of fun. I don’t suppose they do that as much now, i would imagine fireworks aren’t allowed to be sold there, as they aren’t in Australia.
I know some Brits here in Maryland who are doing some 5 November celebrations ๐
Very cool that this year Halloween falls on a Friday with no worry of school the next day. I’m guessing my neighborhood and the one across the street is going to be very lively this year. Weather is great this year too.
