Today’s little episode that brought a smile to my face…..

Man to me in the mall: Excuse me, do you write a blog about living in the States?
Me: Yes, I do….
Man: Oh, I thought it was you! I love reading your blog. I travel to Scotland a lot so I know a bit about the UK.
Me: Oh, that’s lovely that you recognised me!
Man: Yes, and then I heard your accent so I knew it was you! I loved that bit in your blog when you said that the British pub in Columbia wasn’t actually like a British pub at all.
Me: It’s not, is it?
Man: No, not at all!
(Laughter from both)
Man: I’m Dennis. You’ve made my day.
Me: No, Dennis – you’ve made my day.
