Desperate English Housewife in Washington, chapter 91

Spring break….

spring break

THIS IS NOT SPRING!

😦

This is Spring……

I have four pairs of Daisy Dukes freshly washed and ready to be worn with lovely beaded flipflops, not ruddy snow pants and wellies with thermal socks AGAIN. Woe is me.

At least we’re Even Stevens with our Spring snowfall now, UK!

I can tell you are a Maryland snow virgin! lol Look on the bright side heavy snow fall can lead to you communing with your neighbors especially if you get a power cut. On the bright side we had three feet back in 2010 as the porn star said to the actress http://mommyhasaheadache.blogspot.com/2010/02/snowtastic-snownami.html

  2. Sorry but I work in Maryland and have lived in the DC Metro area my entire life (I’m 45) and very, very rarely do we have a.)snow in March and b.)snow in late March. I can’t remember ever having snow this late in March however the few times I do remember snow in March at all were record snowfalls as in 1993 and 1996.

We’re transplanted Northern Virginians currently living in Austria, and I’ve been following your blog for a little while now. If it makes you feel better, we’re expecting 10cm of the not-so-springlike white stuff by tomorrow evening. You’re closer than we; would you mind heading up to Punxsutawney and having a word with that groundhog?

  4. Laurie says:

I am more than ready for this snow to dissipate as well. I am ready for the spring dresses and skirts. Very tired of my heavy jackets. We had a nice day late February, all I keep telling myself is HOW MUCH WE WILL APPRECIATE the spring. On repeat!

  5. Remember, it will be incredibly hot & humid in a few weeks!
